I wanted to take a few moments to provide some information regarding the funeral for Lucille Seigel.
Lucille was saved late in life and was baptised in January 1999 at Charity at the age of 85.
Here is her written testimony from that service:
"God was working in me for quite some time to make the decision to receive Christ in my life and to be saved. Fear of not going to heaven to be with my loved ones was very great. At the close of one of the worship services, I went up to shake Pastor John's hand to show my desire to receive Christ. I felt a change instantly."
"I love Charity Baptist Church and thank the Lord every day that I found it. There is so much love and goodwill among the congregation. The children are wonderful and so huggable."
"A verse of scripture that helped me see my need for Christ and gives me assurance is John 3:16: 'For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever beleives in him shall not perish but have eternal life.'"
Pray that Lucille's desire and prayer will be answered regarding the salvation of her family members.
May the Lord bless you today, and as it begins to snow again, remember that the desire of our God is for us to "Though your sins be as scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they be red like crimson, They shall be as wool!”
